I've purchased N.T. Wright's latest book, Surprised by Hope, today. I was interested in the book since he was interviewed in Newsweek about what the afterlife means. This is a subject I've been wrestling with for a while. What happens when we die? Is it all over? Is there more than this?
I will try to share my thoughts as I slog through the book.

So far I've found myself in resounding agreement with everything N.T. Wright has to say, except for anything touching sacramental theology. His work on the historical Jesus was nothing short of life-changing for me, and his studies in New Testament theology and the Hebrew prophets has reinforced beliefs I once held but then lost over years of hearing only about heaven and hell.
I'll be very interested to see what you think.
